WMF Architect Genna LaCastro Earns AIA Registration

Erie, PA — February 14, 2013 — WMF is pleased to announce that Genna LaCastro has successfully completed the Architect Registration Examination and is now a Registered Architect in the state of Pennsylvania.

 

Genna earned her Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Penn State University in 2008 and joined Weber Murphy Fox the same year. She is currently an Associate AIA, which she will upgrade to AIA upon receipt of her license, and is LEED AP BD + C certified through the U.S. Green Building Council.  She also serves as adjunct faculty for the Interior Design Department at Mercyhurst University and enjoys being part of their mentorship program.

 

Genna recently served as Project Manager for the new educational building at Lake Erie Arboretum at Frontier (LEAF) in the City of Erie. She continues to offer her expertise to LEAF as a member of their Building and Grounds Committee. She is also a Project Architect for the proposed Crawford County Administrative Center in Meadville, PA.

 

Genna was also recently promoted to Associate within the firm.
