See WMF’s Brian Weber brave 1,000 gallons of ice-cold water in Largest Ice Bucket Challenge

splashYou’ve seen the videos on Social Media, but you’ve never seen one like this!

Held at Scott Enterprise’s Splash Lagoon Indoor Water Park located in Erie PA, it’s being called “the Largest Ice Bucket Challenge in the Country.”  For this challenge, Splash Lagoon filled their giant Tiki Tipping Bucket with frigid water, which was then dumped on top of more than 50 local business and political leaders who were asked to donate $50 or more to participate. Scott Enterprises pledged to match those donations. Over $5000 was raised for the fight against ALS.

Good Job Brian!

The ALS Ice Bucket challenge involves people getting doused with buckets of ice water on video, posting that video to social media, then nominating others to do the same, all in an effort to raise ALS awareness.  People can either accept the challenge or make a donation to an ALS Charity of their choice, or do both.
