Erie Plastics

Industrial & Manufacturing

Corporate Offices and

Manufacturing Facility

Corry, Pennsylvania

The Erie Plastics projects consisted of two major adaptive reuse projects, with major implications for the client and the community. Erie Plastics selected a former furniture manufacturing and office complex on the outskirts of Corry, PA to expand their production capabilities and corporate offices.

The program called for provision of new manufacturing facilities with ‘clean room’ status for the manufacturing of plastics components in a building containing 10 acres under roof. The existing 32,000 sq. ft. corporate office building was renovated to provide new executive offices, sales, marketing and finance offices

Part of the project was to strategically place the design department’s Innovation Center utilized to showcase the testing of molds and parts. When clients and prospects visited the company this was the first area on the facility tour to promote the company’s innovative R&D department.
