St. Michael the Archangel

St. Michael the Archangel Parish

Emlenton, PA

Founded in 1871, St. Michael the Archangel Parish Roman Catholic Church is situated within a neighborhood in Emlenton, Pennsylvania.

Renovations for the church included new interior and exterior paint finishes, lighting improvements, cleaning of the historic stain glass windows, cleaning of the unique mural, accessibility improvements and landscaping. Renovations also included new floor and wall finishes, ceilings and lighting for the multi-purpose room and classrooms located in the lower level.

WMF worked closely with the monsignor, parish building committee and finance committee in defining the scope of work and to achieve their aspirations and visions for their project. WMF provided integrated project delivery, consisting of full-service professional design and construction management services resulting in a collaborative, on time and within budget project.

St. Michael’s was awarded the 2010 Oil Heritage Region Historic Preservation Award for the long-term stewardship in the preservation of their church.
