Jacob Beury

Jacob is a Registered Architect, Project Manager, and Associate at Weber Murphy Fox.  With 15 years of experience on campuses across the country, he was pleased to return to Pennsylvania and join our State College office.  A Penn State alumnus and native of Lock Haven, Jacob specializes in Higher Education.

With a wealth of LEED project experience, Jacob is devoted to sustainable design and manages every aspect of project development from concept through construction.  He works collaboratively with owners, stakeholders, and consultants to build consensus and develop a clear understanding of values, goals, and objectives.  Study abroad in Rome influenced his reception on the role of art and architecture in the public realm.  He is passionate about design and believes that engaging spaces improve our communities, creating a true sense of place.

Jacob is actively involved in his local community and the Chamber of Business & Industry of Centre County.  He is a member of the Clinton County Historical Society, the Penn State Alumni Association, and the American Institute of Architects.  As Associate Director of the Sierra Valley Chapter – winner of the 2016 AIA Raise Awareness Award – Jacob worked to create opportunities for emerging professionals in continuing education, networking, and community outreach.

An avid runner, hiker, and rock-climber, Jacob enjoys spending time outdoors with family exploring the wild beauty of Pennsylvania’s forests and mountains.  Beyond his back-yard, you can find him with friends and loved-ones soaking up culture in New York or sun in California.
