CLIENT GOALS

Scott Enterprises acquired 12 acres of prime Erie Bayfront real estate with a vision to develop a dynamic mixed-use project, Harbor Place. This development aims to transform Erie’s Bayfront with a blend of hotel, office, retail, and residential spaces.

SOLUTIONS

Located at the East Canal Basin of Lake Erie’s Presque Isle Bay, Harbor Place features corporate offices, hotels, retail shops, parking garages, an outdoor ice-skating rink, and housing. The complex includes skywalks connecting to UPMC Hamot Hospital and the Bayfront Highway.

RESULTS

The master plan, with an estimated implementation cost of over $150 million, has been supported by a $5 million grant from the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program. The first phase includes an 8-story Hampton Inn & Suites with a restaurant and bar offering stunning views of the Bayfront and Presque Isle Bay.
