CLIENT GOALS

LORD Corporation sought to consolidate its Erie region operations into a single, world-class facility to improve workflow efficiencies and showcase its technology and innovation.

SOLUTIONS

WMF developed a master plan for a 1.1 million square foot facility, adaptively reusing a former furniture manufacturing site into a state-of-the-art aerospace manufacturing and corporate office complex.

RESULTS

The new design integrates over 60,000 square feet of architecturally aesthetic office areas with 250,000 square feet of manufacturing space optimized for workflow efficiency. The facility includes multiple offices, conference rooms, flexible workspaces, and collaborative areas, with exterior modifications adding windows for natural light. The phased construction approach ensured minimal production downtime and incorporated necessary security measures for sensitive areas.
