Dennis Wilkins, AIA, LEED AP
Dennis joined WMF in 1982. As his career progressed so did his leadership and passion for design. Dennis became a Principal in 1994 and President of the firm in 2010. Today Dennis leads our College and University Practice and is the firm’s Chairman of the Board of Directors. As a LEED AP, Dennis looks for opportunities to infuse sustainable elements into his designs.
When you first meet Dennis, immediately you recognize that he is a great listener with an uncanny capacity to ask the right questions and drive the conversation to what is best for the client. Ask one of his clients why they keep coming back to him and the response will likely be along the lines of “because he cares about what is important to us and works hard to make that happen”.
“I get a lot of satisfaction from understanding clients goals, developing creative solutions, and ultimately watching people enjoying those buildings, spaces, and places we create”
Dennis also believes strongly that architects can play a role improving and shaping our communities. He is an active board member of the YMCA of Greater Erie.
